Anthea McIntyre – Legal Practitioner Director
Anthea is Managing Director and Principal Solicitor of McIntyre Legal.
Anthea has been practising as a Solicitor for over 17 years, and is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Anthea holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with First Class Honours, a Masters of Applied Law specialising in Wills & Estates and a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Psychology).
Anthea was awarded the prize for Best Graduating Masters Student in Wills & Estates.
In January 2018, Anthea was appointed as a member of The Law Society of New South Wales’ Elder Law, Capacity & Succession Committee.
Prior to establishing McIntyre Legal in 2014, Anthea was a Senior Associate for over 8 years at top tier law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills, and a Senior Advisor and Lawyer at the Australian Institute of Company Directors for 2 years.
Julie Comninos – Senior Associate
Julie is a Senior Associate at McIntyre Legal.
Julie has been practising as a Solicitor for over six years and is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (with Honours), a Masters of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Prior to joining McIntyre Legal in 2018, Julie was a Senior Associate at top tier firm Herbert Smith Freehills and at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In addition, Julie has a further 25 years’ experience in the legal industry having worked as production editor of the Australian Law Journal and the Federal Court Reports at Thomson Reuters, research assistant to Professor Michael Legg at The University of New South Wales and paralegal and executive assistant at Herbert Smith Freehills.
Jessica van Wyk – Paralegal
Jessica joined McIntyre Legal in 2017 and is in the final year of completing a Bachelor of Laws degree.
