About our Director

McIntyre Legal was established in 2014 by Anthea McIntyre.

Anthea has been a solicitor for over 22 years and holds a Master of Applied Law specialising in Wills & Estates. She was awarded 1st place in her Masters and received the Prize for Best Graduating Student.

Anthea is regularly appointed by the Supreme Court of NSW as an administrator of complex and/or contested deceased estates, and as a Court-appointed tutor.

In 2024, Anthea was listed in Doyles as a Leading Wills, Estates & Succession Planning Lawyer in NSW, and Recommended as a Leading Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer in NSW. Doyle’s rankings are independently compiled from peer-review based surveys provided by senior solicitors and barristers who practice in Wills and Estates law.

The Law Society of NSW has appointed Anthea as an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates Law. Specialist Accreditation is a structured peer to peer assessment process enabling legal practitioners to be recognised for their expertise. To be accredited, specialists must pass a series of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice. To retain their accreditation, specialists must undertake significant additional professional development in their area of expertise each year.
